Kutaisi Consulting Support Increases Construction Company’s Turnover by 20%
Tegika Universal, Ltd. is one of the most successful construction companies in Kutaisi. As Kote Kekeladze, company Director of this company says, "at some point I had to acknowledge that the company faced certain difficulties and it was beyond my competence to handle them." In particular, it lacked a concrete business strategy, market analysis, and detailed production plan. Internal planning processes were nonexistent and decisions were often made spontaneously, creating havoc for financial and engineering management systems. It was obvious that the company urgently needed to develop a comprehensive business plan and implement changes in company management. Seeking issue resolution, in June 2007, Tegika Universal, Ltd. approached Kutaisi Consulting, a member of the Business Consulting Network Georgia established by the USAID-funded Small and Medium Enterprise Support project.
